Exciting day?

The young mutant known as Dante Bishop yawned as he walked out of the home he was currently living in with his adoptive father, just outside the city was the school for gifted children. A school and safe haven for mutants, but Dante wasn't like the other mutants that lived at the school. He was from the future, a future that had left him with only his adoptive family and a M that gave away what he was to the world. He jumped on the bike he had been given by one of the older mutants at the school, so he wasn't just stuck at the school all the time. He started toward the city, hoping to either have a boring evening or to find someone to help that night.

Molpadia hated the world of men, mostly because of the men. The one thing she did like; however, was the motorcycles she saw. They all looked different and while the men who rode them were foolish, she could stomach them to talk about how well their bike was put together.

This man on his bike was no different. As she saw him park, Molpadia crossed over, her large frame making her just as tall as he was. "What sort of motorcycle is this one?"

"It was built by my friend Logan, he's designed it and everything." Dante answered her, he wondered why she would come up to him. Was it just the bike? Or was it flirting? He wasn't into girls, he had figured out that he preferred guys a while back. "He taught me how to take care of her and keep her motor working perfectly."

"Typical man," snorted Molpadia, "you name all of your things after a woman but when it comes down to it, you'd never be able to handle a woman who was powerful." Molpadia would never flirt with a man, no, men were beneath her.

Dante frowned, "Ms. no disrespect, but my friend Logan was the one that said a bike needed a name. And please don't compare me to other guys, most guys don't respect women and I don't agree. I do respect them though..." He pushed a piece of hair out of his eyes.

Molpadia was caught off guard by the comment that the young man made. Though he seemed to be respectful, the one thing that she had learned about patriarchs world were that men could manipulate to get what they wanted. "You respect all women?"

"Of course! It's how my dad and aunt raised me." Dante answered truthfully, he had always been taught to respect everyone. He just had a small problem of being a smart ass some of the time.

Molpadia looked over the young man with a questioning look in his eyes. There was a small but thin smile that passed against her lips, "I am Molpadia of Themyscira. What might your name be?"

"My names Dante Bishop." Dante answered as he pushed his hair from his face before holding his hand out politely, "Its nice to meet you ma'am."

Molpadia was taken aback by the kindness of the young man in front of her. Unlike most men that she had met in Patriarch's World, he seemed to actually value her as a woman. For a moment she forgot about her promise to Circe to destroy every man in Patriatch's World but as he sent a hand her way, shaking hands was a foreign concept to her, she toughened up. "What in Hera's name are you doing?"

"Oh.. Its called shaking hands, its a polite way of greeting someone that you've meet or know." Dante said as he pulled his hand back slowly, he figured she wasn't used to that. He ran his fingers through his hair, glancing as a handsome guy walked by.

Molpadia shook her head, "I have never shaken hands with a male and I will never shake hands with a male. Shaking hands is only done between warriors on Themyscira and you look like no warrior."

She saw the man walk past but her eyes were not drawn to him for long. She crossed her arms over her chest and glared, "Is that a friend of yours?"

Dante quickly shook his head at her question, "No... I don't know him at all..." He fault down a flush before looking at her, "Ma'am I may not look it, but I've been in some fights... Mostly with Sentinals.... But I can take care of myself."

"Sentinels?" Molpadia asked the young man, curious about this creature she had never heard of. As a warrior, it paid to know about all enemies so that you were not caught off guard and subsequently killed. "Tell me of this Sentinel and I will answer a question for you."

"Sentinels are mutant hunting robots, they normally try to capture a mutant though killing has happened before..." Dante answered with a small frown, he hated the Sentinels. They had been the cause of much grief for the mutants in his time.

"Robots are weak as the men who create them," laughed Molpadia, tossing her head back.

Dante shook his head at that, "Trust me, they are nothing to laugh at ma'am... I've seen what they can do to a mutant with lesser powers... They are dangerous... Especially in my t..."

"Well then," shrugged Molpadia, "you should be glad that you came to this wretched world."

"Not really... It shouldn't be long before they're started to be made... A ten years at least... If dad was right..."

Molpadia frowned and wrinkled her brow, "Well... I hope you can do everything that you need to, male. Patriarch's World is place where many opposing forces face against each other."

"I can take care of myself... I've got... Special gifts..." Dante said softly, pushing the hair out of his face. He wondered if the strange lady knew about mutants.

Molpadia looked him over carefully, as if inspecting a piece of meat. "Special gifts? Tell me, what do you do?"

Dante sighed softly as she looked at him like meat, "I'm a mutant, I have the gift of Energy Manipulation..." He brought his hand up and let the energy start growing like he was going to fire a beam.

Molpadia had never seen that outside of a magic user. A beam spread across her face, not quite grasping the term mutant. "You are a skilled magician as well! Tell me, what sorcerer did you learn from?"

"Its not magic ma'am... Its a mutation... Its a power that comes from my body..."Dante said as he put his hand down, he always felt like a freak when he talked about his powers.
