Character Name: Clint Barton

Alias: Hawkeye

Power: He has no power, but he is an expert marksman, especially when using a bow. He is also capable of performing a few acrobatic techniques, which he uses alongside his archery.

Second Generation Anti-Hero or Vigilante? If so, how did you end up picking up the mantle?: He is the first Hawkeye.

Costume: It varies, but usually a black, sleeveless outfit with hints of purple or the traditional black S.H.I.E.L.D outfit.

How long have they been an anti-hero or vigilante?: He has been working with S.H.I.E.L.D for quite a few years, but has only been considered a sort of ‘hero’ when he did so in public, during the battle in New York.

Character Bio: Clint and his older brother Barney were raised on their parents’ farm in Waverly, Iowa. When Clint was 6 however, their parents died in a car accident and the two boys ended up in an orphanage. After a few years there, the boys ran away and soon ended up joining a circus where Clint was trained to be the expert marksman he is now. After discovering his mentor was stealing money from the circus, Clint was beaten and left for dead. His mentor escaped and soon Clint and his brother’s relationship deteriorated. Clint then began using his skills to become the circus’s main attraction, under the name ‘Hawkeye’.
Eventually, Clint left the circus and became a vigilante before being picked up and hired by S.H.I.E.L.D, where he was trained as an agent/assassin. He was sent to kill the ‘Black Widow’, but instead befriended her and convinced her to come work alongside him.
Clint was injured in New York and lost most of his hearing as a result and was taught Sign Language as a way to communicate until he had healed enough to get implants to restore it, though not to the same level as what it was.
